Our Story
March Essential Foods was conceptualized by Caterina Marchese who has been a practicing Holistic Nutritionist for over 15 years. As a health focused foodie she wanted to create something that was not just nutrient dense but specifically gut healthy and drool worthy. It’s not easy to find simple to incorporate health foods that taste gourmet but that’s what March Essential Foods has managed to create.
We ferment Certified Organic non GMO'd plants that have been used traditionally and are now validated by science. We do all of our fermentations in a controlled environment to ensure our product is safe and consistent.
All of our plants go through the fermentation process for 90-120 days resulting in a product that is approximately 1.5% acetic acid making our Pure Functional Ferments an ideal option to be used in place of any vinegar. Use them to make a drool worthy and gut healthy dressing, sauce, tonic or mock-tail.
